Role of ICT in Developing
21st Century Skills
ICT
integration particularly in classroom instruction has been put part of the
curriculum as it has been considered a crucial key and means to enhance
teaching and learning. Utilizing ICT tools and resources in education helps teachers
to be more effective and students to enhance their knowledge and develop skills,
particularly the learning skills (4Cs) - Communication, Collaboration, Critical
thinking and Creativity; literacy skills (IMT) - Information literacy, Media
literacy and Technology literacy; and life skills (FLIPS) - Flexibility, Leadership,
Initiative, Productivity and Social skills of the 21st-century skills.
